Kerry MacDonald, RD, LDN, Appointed Pine Tree Recovery Center’s New Executive Director
JULY 2021 | Pine Tree Recovery is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry MacDonald, RD, LDN as Executive Director. Kerry acted as Pine Tree’s Registered Dietitian consultant since the center’s inception and for the past several years served as the acting Director of Women’s Extended Care for The Plymouth House. She has worked in the addiction, behavioral and mental health fields for more than 10 years and has an extensive professional background in nutrition, hospital management and health care. Additionally, she serves on several Board of Directors and has been involved in numerous local projects relating to addiction recovery and substance use disorder.
“With Kerry’s knowledge of the field and commitment to the population Pine Tree serves, we feel strongly that she will be a valuable resource and addition for our team,” said John Buro, Pine Tree’s previous Executive Director who shifted to a new role at Guardian Recovery Network. “Kerry’s personal and professional experience aligns with the mission of Pine Tree Recovery Center — to give hope to individuals and families of the diverse communities that we serve who are affected by substance use and co-occurring disorders, and a commitment to providing exceptional, high quality, evidence-based treatment. As Pine Tree has continued to grow and expand over the years, we are confident Kerry is the right leader to serve our staff, clients, and the entire community as we look forward to the next chapter and exciting changes to come.”
